I am a graduate from the University of California,
Santa Cruz with a bachelor’s degree in Art. I have
experience working with a diversity of children,
from different cultures, economic backgrounds, and
learning abilities.
As an undergraduate I spent time working with economically disadvantaged children in a program called “DrawBridge.” Aside from helping children express themselves through art, I was a mentor and role model. I am happy to be a part of the CASA program which has a strong arts curriculum, which plays a vital role in a child’s education.
I am a Chicano artist who combines photography and painting. Aside from making art, I love to hang out with the cool kids of CASA - whether it be playing jump rope or just being silly, it’s always a good time at CASA.
