Dori Midnight is an artist, educator, performer,

activist and healer who has taught at CASA for almost

10 years!

At CASA, Dori teaches the beloved Magical Arts

classes, in which children learn to talk and listen to

trees and animals, make magic wands and tarot cards,

play with stones, tell fantastical tales and concoct

potions.

Dori has taught all over the world, from Bay

Area public schools and juvenile hall to street

workshops in Barcelona, always focusing on creative

exploration and collaboration, encouraging kids to

express themselves freely.

As an artist, she has painted murals, dangled from a trapeze, casts spells on hundreds of people, created installations and rituals, made silent movies, and collaborated with many amazing artists. She counts working with tiny brilliant artists at CASA among her favorite things in the whole world.
